vmaxblues Posted June 11, 2008 Share Posted June 11, 2008 So, i get my new stagg eub, tune up, G string snaps, so eventually i find another one, tune up, snaps again, get another, and you'll never guess what? yup, snaps again, it won't tune to G at all, gets to E little bit farther...snap. But seriously, the only way a string will snap at correct pitch is if there's something else putting strain on it somewhere. Or the strings could be crap? Is the bridge too far out from the body?
