It may even belong to a BCer but I just seem to have a recollection of seeing that serial number being used on eBay at least twice before. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with this sale or listing (unless it is a duplicate listing) but if it is the same bass it must be feeling so unloved! You are right.... there is something definately fishy about this one..... 1stly shouldnt it have a certificate of authenticity, and 2ndly shouldnt the serial number be emebelished into the back of the neck? Me has a feelink that this is one of a run of 50th anni replicas they did in 2001....... Still a nice bass, but I'm not sure it is what its purported to be!
