Happy Jack Posted July 6, 2013 Share Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) I've recently got involved with a pro lady vocalist and her new project, an album of originals already written but only two recorded (Clarky on bass) and no band to gig them. Money's too tight to mention, which is why she's prepared to work with an amateur like me. The music is smoky-club almost-jazz-quartet stuff (think Ricky Lee Jones), with the rhythm section being DB and cajon, so the melody needs to be supported by a decent keyboards player or a guitarist who's capable of hanging his/her ego on a hook by the door - the musicians are definitely a backing band, not the stars of the show. This is West London based, ideally close to Ealing. Own transport is, as ever, bloody useful. If this isn't you, is it someone you know?
