Hi Guys,

I'm just after a bit of advice if you can help me? I have an Ampeg BA-108 amp its a small practice amp but I want to know if I can add a separate basic graphic equalizer to it it has inputs in the back of the amp that says effects so can I put an EQ onto it? if I can what should I be looking for? any old EQ or is there a special type I need for a bass amp?. Thanks in advance. :)

You`ll be fine with that, I used to put a graphic in the effects loop of a guitar amp for solos and found they work great that way - in fact I thought better that way than in between the instrument and the amp input. A bass specific graphic will give you better results, due to targeting the main frequency areas that the bass works on, however you`ll still be able to shape a fair bit with a regular graphic.
