The Adrenalinn does all this to a very high standard (Roger Linn has godly status) but also adds the stuff that you hear on records but can’t make with most pedals: filters, arpeggiators, step sequencers stereo out, headphones out and much more. Seriously this pedal is incredible live and in the studio and really comes into its own when fed a MIDI clock signal (again perfect for studio or high-tech bands). I think it's a band pass with a super narrow Q do when you play a note it lifts the harmonics to sound like a guitary arpeggiator. It's really cool, actually. You can change it with a MIDI note input, but otherwise it's only set to one chord, so by scrolling through presets you can change it or by connecting your keyboard player to it you can. DanOwens Posted April 25, 2013 Author Share Posted April 25, 2013 The problem is this has an in-built drum machine (not too shabby either) and a headphone out; this means it's practical and ridiculous fun without having to set up your amp.
