How old is the bass and which Nordys do you have ?

I'll check the serial number for age but it's the newer one with Lakland LH3 preamp and pickups.
... and yes, Nordies are a perfect match for rosewood IMO with Bart type fullness and low mid warmth but more focus and aggressive when digging in, serious growl and grind.
For people like me who like the Bart freqs but find them too hifi, polite and soft.... I tried split coil version NJ5S / MM5.4 and didn't like it as much - - too mid scooped and "hifi" for me.
