Gibson Standard SG Bass, faded cherry finish. There is a little chip on the volume knob (see pic) but apart from that the bass is in exellent condition. The bass electronics have been checked by a professional luthier in Jan 2013 and the volume knob for the neck pickup (which was a bit scratchy) was replaced (invoice available).

The bass is short scale and a dream to play and the fretboard is easily accessible even in the upper register. It has a very characteristic tone (listen to Cream, Free) ideal for rock, blues, jazz, soul or with a bit of distortion for hard rock and metal. Please note this is not the cheaper Epiphone version, this is a Gibson, made in USA 2008.

The bass is strung with brand new D'Addario roundwounds, a set of (hardly used) flatwounds will come with the bass.

The bass comes with a beautiful original Gibson case (see pictures).

The retail price for a new Gibson SG Standard Faded is approx. GBP700, I'd like to sell the bass for GBP450.

Could hand over the bass in South-West part of Greater London (Kingston, Richmond) or Central London. Happy to send the Gibson bass to you within the UK, courier fees will be around £25, sending to continental Europe upon request.

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards

Poor little thing on its way to ebay soon... can't manage the MusicMan GAS anymore but have to give away 1 bass (the usual rule to stay married)... Better rescue the beautiful bass and give it a new home! Excellent condition, electronics just checked by Charlie Chandler, amazing sound, great playability, what else could you wish for?!
