The body has walnut wings and a gorgeous flamed maple core. 3 piece maple neck with matching headstock. Pau ferro fretboard. Gold hardware. 3 band eq, blend and master vol. (push-pull for active/passive). All hardware and electronics work perfectly. All original. Plays just great. Low action's possible. Has the most amazing B-string! [/quote] I live in a dorm room and don't own a scale, so I can't tell you that I'm afraid, but it's not heavy for a 5-string is what I can tell you. It's a quality instrument in every aspect. Haven't had time to do any in day light. There's some darkening and dents to the wood between the pu's, but that's all wear there is to it. Price is not negotiable.
