Small MIDI foot controller?

I'm looking for something to control a software looper (so need 4 buttons) and wah (so need expression pedal). I would consider them separate but would rather all in one.

The Line 6 FBV Express seems the ideal form factor, but it doesn't have MIDI connectors... can I plug it to the MIDI connectors on my audio interface somehow?

The Line 6 board i am afraid is a proprietry communication system and thus no MIDI - I'd recommend picking up a Boss FC-50, otherwise known as a Roland GFC-50 off eBay. You can connect a cheap expression pedal to it. They are discontinued, so cheap but practically bomb proof too!

Bit of an off-the-wall suggestions, but what about the Zoom B9.1ut? GAK are still selling them for £99, multiple switches, expression pedal, and MIDI in / out.

I'm not too clued up on MIDI, but the manual seems to suggest it will do what you want:

These pedals seem to come in only one size - big. I remember having a look a while ago for the purposes of some harebrained scheme but I didn't find anything suitable.

Alternatives to the roland are the Behringer FCB1010 and Yamaha MFC10. I think Yamaha might do other models but I don't know if any are smaller.
