Myke Posted April 20, 2013 Author Share Posted April 20, 2013 So I've attached the neck, put the strap buttons on and the headstock is done I bought a scratchplate and it didn't fit so that's going back, I just ordered another one, may or may not fit, unsure atm. Not quite finished but I put the strings on and it's officially unplayable But hopefully tomorrow my tutor can help set it up. Pics tomorrow! Myke Posted June 2, 2013 Author Share Posted June 2, 2013 Okay.. I lied.. Here's a pic of it against the cab I picked up for Ian Savage. The scratch plate is still not done. I need to round the edges and countersink the screws. I also need to file the nut to get the action lower. May need to shim the neck up a bit more aswell as the bridge is as low as it can go. Oh and need to shield everything. [/quote] Thank you I'm only 95% happy with it as it's not perfect but I've learnt so much as I've gone along and now I want to do one from scratch!
