Looks like MTD USA now have a UK dealer

Not sure if it's been mentioned, and I'm quite excited since I noticed this the other day:

It's about time that someone did it, so well done Mark. The prices look pretty competetive too vs. buying direct from a US dealer.

If anything is going to drag me from under my rock and up to Warwick, this IS IT :D

Thank you for the support guys, very much appreciated. I have been selling the MTD Kingston range for some time now and felt that the USA models were just too tempting. Michael Tobias is a real gentleman and a real icon in the bass industry and we had a lot of fun putting together spec's for the first batch of basses. I am going out to NAMM in January this year and will be meeting up to discuss further basses and get to meet the man himself. I know there are a few of you guys that already own an MTD and I am htrilled to be his agent in the UK.

Please contact me if you require any further information.

Regards

Mark

I bought, sold and traded basses for 6 years, going through over 40 boutique basses before landing my first MTD 635. I've done all but 3 gigs with an MTD since then. If you get one that compliments your touch and needs, it's pretty much as good as it gets. One thing many might not know is that they now offer a USA model with single coil pickups. (Interesting bit of history with Norm Stockton there on youtube as well)

I had a great Meeting with Michael Tobias at NAMM as I have three basses in production, I also had a chat with Andrew Gouche who was demoing on a couple of booths at the show. Norm Stockton showed me his new signature Saratoga bass (we have the Kingston version in stock which just kills and is under £500!!). I am confident that these will appeal to players looking for a bass for a gib range of gigs and especially suited for those who work in covers bands, gospel etc :-D
