I love the bright sound of the Pro Steels But want the smooth feel of flats for my fretless. What are the brightest flats available ? [/quote] I find chrome flats have to high tension for my liking. Elixir could be the way forward, I have tried them before and liked the feel and sound. Ive also tried them before and found them to have to low tension for my liking. Looks like Elixir might be the solution. Does anyone want to buy TWO sets of Pro Steels for 6 string bass ?
