Burg Posted November 13, 2012 Share Posted November 13, 2012 Hi all, Up for grabs here is my Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 600 amp head and matching cabs (Hughes and Kettner Bassbase 4x10 and 2X15). Mine is one of the older and much rarer black faced amp heads rather than the silver faced heads more commonly seen. All is in great working condition, I still use this rig on a weekly basis and it has never let me down. The cabs have some wear and tear to the black vinyl covering but nothing excessive. This is an amazing rig, but it's far more than I need in terms of both size and performance. I'm also including the Bassbase stageboard for switching between EQ channels, activating FX loop etc and I'll also throw in a power cable and 2 speakon cables. Ideally I'd like to sell the lot in one go. From new this entire rig would have set you back about £3k, I'm looking for[b] £1000[/b] ono for the entire rig but I'd be happy to sell.trade any of these items separately. PM me if you're interested. I'd also be interested in trades or part exchange for either a smaller amp and cab set up or a nice high end bass. I used to have the 410 cab as well years ago and that was bomb-proof, so I'm sure these 2 cabs together with the amp (which is capable of 1000watts) must sound monstrous.. Good luck with the sale! The great thing about these amps though is that the basic clean tone is so good they can still do mellow even with all that power behind them. I've had many positive comments on this amp when used by other bass players at gigs around Manchester whether used as a full rig or just the head and one of the 2 cabs.
