1. Never received this so Signal Path must still have it.
2. GAK has these at £290 now due to the pound devaluing.
3. Gah, couldn't make it today after all, family emergency, Gutted. Looks like it was a good doo.
4. Hi all, Late to the party but I'm hoping to attend. If I can keep the kids out of the car I'll bring my Boosey. I havent noticed anyone bringing a Stagg so can bring mine for anyone who hasn't tried one before, mine is strung with silver slaps. I'll also bring a Yita Carbon bow. All subject to leaving the wife and kids behind.
5. I've got one of these and it is surprisingly loud for such a tiny little thing. Has that GK tone as well.
6. Listened to this myself earlier for the first time. Nice, the bass seems a bit low in the mix though unfortunately.
7. Lovely bass. If only I had some money and space for a second bass.
8. Gah, if this was the 5 string. Do I really need a 5 string?
9. I've got n unused set of weed whackers as well. Couldn't be bothered filing the bridge to fit them. The G sounded nice though when I put that on though.
10. The Drive a Double Bass videos by Michael Klinghoffer on YouTube helped me out a lot when I started playing upright. Very classical focussed but helpful nonetheless. He has a great video where he shows how you can finger a note just using the weight of the bass, which shows just how important it is not to grip the neck too hard. I'll see if I can find a link.
11. Take your time with it, and enjoy!
12.
My bartolini lasts about two weeks if you leave the Jack in, over two years with the Jack in seams overly good unless there is a passive option you leave it on?
No passive option. I do mute the amp, wonder if that removes the signal to the pickups?
13. hmm, I've had my Status for about 2 years now. Jam weekly for about 4-5 hours and leave it plugged in the entire time. I've changed the battery once I think? Possibly twice. I do go for the extra long life batteries though.
14. Hi, if this is still being passed around I'd love to give it a watch.
15. It's mine now. Thanks Nugget.

17. As per the others. I'd add to be mindful of how much pressure you are using to mute the strings. You should be able to mute the strings just by using your arm weight and thi should feel relaxed and comfortable. If you're pushing down too much or holding tension in your arm or shoulder this could be the cause of the pain.
18. First gig in a while. Tracks available via soundcloud.com/phre-the-eon We are also looking for a support band to do 30 minutes or so to warm the crowd up. Message me if interested.
