Finally got to play through one of these last night - absolutely monumental! THe sound with my flats loaded P bass and an ampeg 410hlf was unreal. I begged the guy to sell it to me but he wouldnt. Have major gas now but need to save up first. Did have a SC 120 a while back but just couldnt get a usable tone out of it at any great volume, the 200 though was something else. If you ever get chance to blast one i recomend you do, you will be GASing for sure!

looks lovely. Whats that you are doing with the inputs? Bridging?

jep, this way u can nicely mix the normal and brilliant channel and since the ampeg cab is not very effective, I can push the amp a little more. :D

I used to have use of an SC120. Was a good amp, but to me, it needed the right cab with it to do it justice. Luckily there was a matching 412 (I think, could have been a 410) and it really was great through that. Not so hot with a 115 that I used with it though.

short update: my pre hiwatt SC200 is now recapped, checked and back to 100%.
played it yesterday on the rehearsal and still am in soundheaven.
there are rarely amps with a tone that produce goose bumps, but mine does. :D

definately check one out if you have a chance, or try a hiwatt.
