Just stumbled upon this forum and it looks very informative so joined up. I love the pics of some of the custom made guitars, awesome. Four strings is all I can handle though, I play a modified Westone Super Headless and have a Peavey Cirrus for backup - the Westone is a b*gger to restring, I've never snapped one yet in 24 years of playing it, but needed a bass in reserve just in case. I also made a hybrid fretless from a couple of basses which does the job. Nowt flash about me, my gear or my playing - I've got a 1992 Trace 4x10 combo that's lived in the garage unused for 10 years, I now D.I. straight into our 5K Mackie rig and we use in ear monitors to hear what we want. No big rig to hump around!! I play in a cover band every weekend with 3 of me best mates, we are four old fa**s growing old disgracefully............................ and having a blast!
