RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
I've been noodling around on soundcloud , over the last couple of months, and the enthusiasm is slowly increasing.I have ipad, mac mini, effect units, and of course..basses. I've been using my oxygen usb keyboard, which has spent most of its life stuck behind a door.) (was a bit dismayed when I found out only today that I can't use it as a sampler..duh!) So I cannot plug my bass in the back>) Anyway, if I did get one, I would assume it would take some time for me to get to grips with it. I think there is an app that acts like a sampler, but I don't know how complicated it is. Can anyone help? cheers
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Just thought about GarageBand on the iPad . Think I'll probably be better off using that. )
charic
I know you can do this in logic (picking the bit of audio you want to "sample" is generally easier than a "real life" sampler too). Not got any experience of garageband though
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE
Thanks charic. I've got logic express. Haven't been recording long, so I avoided it. Will look into it, when I feel brave enough to.)
charic
If you get stuck give me a shout. It's been a few years but I'll help where I can :-)
Spike Vincent
You'll generally find software samplers easier than hardware, but if you get the urge for an old school hardware sampler,I've got a few gathering dust......which shoud tell you something! Zenitram
Actually, are you interested in selling the S612?
Spike Vincent
Make me an offer. The postage will likely be hefty as it's 2 19" rack units.I even have a few 2.8" Quickdisks somewhere.
