Has anyone seen or heard the new updated Gallien MB112 II? Spotted it on Thomann and I have to say I really like it. Really nice simple look, it reminds me of a high quality PA cab with the textured finish and the embossed logo on the side.

I would be really interested to see if anyone onhere has one as I am after a combo for my upright. Pics below.

Apparently the new ones are made in the US, as they had some QC issues where they got made before.
I reckon it would serve you pretty darned well for upright stuff, crazy good price too!

The additional buzz is that GK will mod the older model up to the series-II spec, free of charge- you only pay shipping. It's on my list of things to do now! I'm pretty much figuring all my standard watering-hole type gig needs will be met with the MB112 and a powered extension 1x12.

There's a Talkbass thread about it here...
