Have decided to sell my 1951 Reissue P-Bass to make way for a Bongo that I've just bought from another forum member along with a desire to try as many instruments as I can whilst holding on to my 74 Jazz as my only 'keeper' for now (since I've always had it and couldn't envisage life without it).

Excellent condition - no dents or dings.

Its an earlier 'Made In Japan' (as opposed to 'Crafted In Japan') model. I think it's about 1994 or thereabouts.

Blonde slab body.

Black single-ply scratchplate.

Vintage reverse tuners.

It has a Seymour Duncan SCPB-3 Quarter Pound 'Basslines' pickup.

And a Fender deluxe 4 saddle bridge with threaded saddles which was a direct bolt in replacement.

I'll include the original pickup, the original 2-saddle bridge and a Fender gig-bag.

This is a great instrument for reproducing those Motown and disco grooves - great playability and feel, nice action and a super powerful early Precision tone.

For sale at £575 including postage.

Would consider a trade for a Steinberger XL-2 or StingRay Unlined Fretless, obviously with cash going your way.
