Jeverson28 Posted June 19, 2012 Share Posted June 19, 2012 HELP! If I set my main bass (Ibanez SR520) up to how Ibanez recommend it to be set up I get MASSIVE fret buzz on the first couple of frets. It's so bad that the note I play can barely be heard or will last a very short amount of time. Does anyone have any ideas why it's so bad? Even professional set-ups haven't sorted the problem out... I have a normal amount of relief (by normal I mean the same as my other basses have and how Ibanez recommend). I'll check the frets now... I've since set it up myself and got it better than it was but for some reason I still can't get it quite how I want.
