I have got this wonderful fretless from a fellow BCer last year. I thought I would recover my 6-string love again, but meanwhile I am back to Fender Jazzes most of the time - sometimes a 5-string, but 6 is too much for me. Although this bass is outstanding in every way.

Specs:

Body: Alder with soundholes
Top: Myrtle
Set neck with lined fretless ebony board
Scale: 35'
Seymour Duncan pickups in ebony covers
Seymour Duncan 3-band electronics with Vol/Bal/B/M/T and coil tap switches
Ebony Knobs
Hipshot Hardware
Non-original hardcase

Like new condition. Modest wear on the board from using roundwounds - but nothing noticable. Everything works fine. Superstraight neck with very low action.

This bass provides a bunch of wonderful singing fretless sounds. Especially the B string is of noticable outstanding presence and definition.

Ken makes about 20-25 basses per year and these cost a heck of a money new. Even Vinnie Fodera mentioned Ken Lawrence as one of the best luthiers in the world.

WITHDRAWN from sale ! Thanks for looking !
