Hey guys, looking to sell or trade my hamer cruise bass.it's a fretless 5 string with the 2tek bridge and is currently passive with a set of fender/lace sensor pickups and is in nice condition.Had it for about 5 years and it's one of my favorite basses i've owned, feels just as solid as my status s2 classic six string which i've also just moved on also!Would be interested in a P style bass fender, tokai or similar,or £450 cash. Thanks for looking Rich.

I know I should keep it but it's just not being used enough,I play in a function band and like to play the same bass all night and fretless doesn't work on majority of the tunes!A straight swap for a fretted 4 string would be ideal but you don't see them around very often, plus I've got a couple of nice jazzes and I'd like a nice P to go with them!
BottomE whats the specs of the Bitsa bass?

Hi

Its all US parts except the body which is from a Squire Affinity.

I bought a US 2009 neck from a fellow BC'r which is as good as new - cost £180
I bought some standard US Precision PuPs - cost £70
I bought some Fender closed back tuners from the States where it is cheaper - cost £60

The bass looks and sounds great and is certainly gig ready. The pickguard might not be everyones taste but the vinyl will come off - i get loads of compliments when i use the bass. In fact, i was so pleased with the project that i bought a couple of 1980s Squiers that are ready to be pimped :).

I also have a vintage wiring kit, worth about £15, which i want to use on my new project but would chuck in if its of interest.

Finally, the bass will has a high quality TKL soft case and blue suede strap.

Here are some pics:

and a little taster...

All the best

Jerry
