basskit_case Posted April 14, 2012 Share Posted April 14, 2012 (edited) I purchased this bass in December 2011 and I have used it on and off in the house since then, so it is in excellent condition. This is the Gloss red version with poplar body and bolt-on maple neck with rosewood fretboard. It has a Shadow active pick-up system with volume and 2-band EQ control. It still has the original strings on it which are now starting to settle down. This bass will only work with mono cables, I didn't realise this and started a thread a while ago asking why I couldn't hear anything from the bass . However Basschat came to the rescue and the more knowledgeable members of the community pointed out the error of my ways. It comes with a quality Kala gig bag and suitable strap, bass straps are just too long. I am only looking to sell this because I got a hefty bill from the garage and need to to put the proceeds toward covering the hole in my finances. The price includes fully insured delivery.
