ampeg BA500 combo, are there any views on them?

im possibley looking for an ampeg combo, and a 410hlf cab, has anyone owned or used the ba500?
if so what are your views please.

Not got one, but did consider it when I was looking at combos & wasn't impressed with it. Ended up with a MarkBass CMD102P.

Not used a BA500, but some reviews here for what it's worth:

I have used a 410 HLF though. Heavy for a 4X10 but shifts a [i]lot[/i] of air.

Bit lower end, but I've had a BA115HP combo for a few years, not a bad amp in its price range. If you're wanting a top combo though I can't recommend highly enough the Mark Bass stuff.
