neck question. is it possible?

Well this place had them, but they seemed to have stopped stocking them

What it was, was a neck that fitted a normal 20 fret neck pocket, but had the fingerboard extended to 24 frets, sorta like the 21 fret ones that are on there. Not sure what upper access would be like, but theres an idea

Another problem you might have changing necks around is access to those upper frets - I'm putting a 22-fret neck (which I already have) onto a Thunderbird body, so I'm kissing goodbye to, oh, seven frets or so. :P That's OK for me (saves all that anxiety and nosebleeds straying over the 15th fret), but if you're after a useable 24 frets, you'll need the right neck position/cutaway to actually get to them without having to have a second left wrist installed... :D
