Just tried to fit some old roto's i had knockin round to my Squier VM telebass and found the bullet wouldnt fit into the ferule on the back of the body (string thru body). Never thought that certain ones might not so does anyone who own this bass know what strings will fit? In particular im thinking DR Fatbeams

Its the Squier VM tele bass. Its not the string lengths that are the problem its just the bullet ends on the strings wont fit (well E string anyway into the ferrules). Ive since read that DR's seem to fit ok so ordered myself a set on ebay from america (cheaper than buying from UK!)

Isn't there a minimum value below which they don't charge excise... or is that just an urban myth?
I've kept my overseas orders below twenty quid and never had a problem.
Maybe I have just been lucky.
Soon find out as I'm just about to do it again.

if your order is worth more than #135GBP you "may" be required to pay duty.
