molan
Thanks guys! @ Molan: The bass is all original, I hadn´t change a single screw since I bought it. Cheers
Cool, thanks for confirming. I've previously owned a similar era Fender J that the previous owner ha told me was all original and it turned out that pickups and pots had been replaced which really devalued it Any idea how much it weighs? That's over 12lbs & I've never seen a 70's Fender coming in quite that heavy (my '79P is about 11.5lbs & that's a pretty hefty beast). Also - do you have a close-up shot of the body that shows the wear mark between the two pickups from a direct 'head-on' view?

w_joe
Hi I really don't think so, I'll try to take some pictures of the Pus and electronics in a few days so that you guys can see. cheers Edited January 25, 2012 by w_joe
w_joe
Thanks for all the interest guys but after some serious thinking I decided I will keep this bass, after all it's not every day that you have an instrument that's older than yourself! PS: for some teasing here are the PUs and electronics pictures: Cheers
