Fender Jazz Bass. Vintage white with 3/ply brown tortoise shell pickguard. Serial number: Q 022136 CIJ
It is a used instrument but it is in perfect condition (like new)
Neck is streight, frets and fretboard are perfect. All metal parts also looks like new.
BODY: BASSWOOD
NECK: MAPLE
FRETBOARD: ROSEWOOD
PICKUPS: 2X JB SINGLE
Comes with Fender Gigbag (very good condition).

[/quote]its a copper earth grounding strip from the bridge to the pickups.. to make sure the bridge doesnt give you a shock, was used on the early 62's instead of the later drilling into the body
