They are identical to those in the pic: the pins/buttons (1) replace your existing strap buttons and screw on in the same positions. The spring cap and lock (2 & 3) go through your strap holes and are held in place with the washer (4) and bolt (5). The cap is spring loaded - you push it towards the lock, place the assembly over the pin/button, release it and it locks securely in place. Now you can leap about the stage like a complete tit - safe in the knowledge your bass isn't going to fly through the air and concuss your guitard - nice thought though that be.
