Hey guys,

I have a lot of students who in the past have found it tough to break away from just playing routes when coming up with there own bass lines. In this tutorial i've tried to give you a couple of methods that will help you break away from being stuck on the route and start to make your bass playing much more creative.

The tune i'm demoing this stuff on is 'Perfectly Lonely' by John Mayer... With Pino Palladino on bass.

Here's part 1...

Take it easy,

Scott.
