Bought this to go with a Peavey valve pre-amp. It sounded amazing, much better than the Peavey pre I am now using BUT I really can't cope with having to tweak it in a live situation. [/quote] Did think long and hard about this - trouble is it fits both categories - when I was looking for a pre-amp I tended to go for the amp section as that's where most of them are.
