jmsjabb
I have a front full width ported cabinet for a 15" speaker. Internal size is 17.5" wide, 14.5" deep and 22" high. The front port is devided into three, but is 17.5" x 2". Looking for light weight please.
redstriper
Eminence kappalite 3015 or 3015LF if you want more depth and less top.
alexclaber
How deep is the port?
Bill Fitzmaurice
You must provide the specs on the amp as well, which impacts sensitivity, response and excursion requirements.
jmsjabb
The port is just an open gap at the bottom of the cab, looking like the pic in your avatar Alex. The amp is a Markbass F1 and it will run with an Ashdown ABM210
alexclaber
Looks like it's tuned to around 65Hz which is too high for bass guitar, so you'll need to add an internal shelf to that port (which is what's inside that cab in my avatar, though that port is really really long). Get the tuning frequency lower and it'll work well with a Kappalite 3015.

It will work better than adding a fifteen, especially if you rotate the cabs 90 degrees to place all the drivers on a vertical line.
