Sorry - I didn't think the photo was THAT bad :) Anyway, I've posted two more pics - one of which was taken in a recording studio one afternoon last month (also showing the Ampeg single 15" cab and Vox combo on right-hand side). If you have any other comments or queries, just send me a message.

Cheers,

Iain.

Hi,

I'm based in Edinburgh, and I'll be happy to discuss shipping requirements (just send me a private e-mail if you want to talk about that sort of thing).

Cheers,

Iain.
are these the amps that Cliff Burton used? If so = Win!
Hi,

No and yes...at one stage Cliff Burton used Sunn guitar amplifiers, I believe. I love the "Master of Puppets" album and I've seen his solos on the "Cliff 'Em All" DVD, but I don't really know that much about him or the equipment he used. One thing I will say is that this is a very versatile amp with a distinctive tone and, I know from experience, it works really well if you're the kind of bass-player who likes to use distortion pedals and things like that. Compared to other amps (old and new), the Coliseum Bass amp doesn't really give you much gain or distortion, however, it works really well in conjunction with crazy outboard effects. If you're the kind of player who likes the bass to sit alongside the guitars as an independent voice in the band, rather than it just being a rumble that's half-buried under the other instruments, then I think any pre-1990s Sunn amp is worth checking out.

Cheers.
has anyone played these before? if so how do you rathe them and what kind of music do you play?
I used the Collisium 300 through an ampeg 8x10 to record my bands EP. We play Sludge metal. It's VERY loud. They're very well built and very reliable, this one looks like it's an original not a fender re-issue, so it's top quality gear.
