Just some question and advice needed really from those more in the know than me.

I was just wondering what the wattage rating is for when it's outputting into a single 8ohm cab?
I can take a guess at between 450-500watt, or is that a little optimistic?

Also not being inclined to the power full EQ and tubetone I was just wondering if someone could give some hints and tips for Overdrive sounds. In particularly Mad Capsule Market's Takeshi Ueda's sound from the 4 plugs and digidogheadlock albums.

Cheers!

Btw I largly use the stingray and sterling with treble boost and lows boosted depending on the room.

If you like the more 'sucked' mids distortion tone, just notch the low mids/high mids down a click or two, then ramp the tubetone right up (past 12 Im guessing).

Im guessing this amp is putting out about 400-450 into 8 ohms maximum. Its a lot, anyway! TC watts are always quite conservatively rated.

If you want a more mids based distortion, id ramp the low mids up a little, have the rest of the controls on 12 ish/flat probably, then again use the tubetone.

A plectrum will make a massive difference for a really attacking tone. You can add some compression as well.

I think TC amps seem to be fairly honestly rated. The Staccato is very loud for 450 watts.

The RH750 will be 500 watts at 8 ohm give or take a couple, but I don't know much about the EQ because I run mine completely flat, and flat on a Staccato is different to the RH amps.
