Glennhippo Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 Anyone else have a 5. 15 mini stack by ashdown? I love the tone produced, but it's just not that loud. At the moment I plug the head into the input of my Whitehorse bp150 , but would love to have the 5 15 cab upgraded so I could gig it. Any ideas? Bankai Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 I used to use the Perfect 10 Minirig which was the predecessor to your's. Put simply, it's not really possible to upgrade it realistically. If you're loving the sound then consider looking at some more upmarket Ashdown gear? I did exactly the same. Bankai Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Not a problem. I picked up the Little Giant head for £160 second hand, the cab came new at £200. I have since added a second cab and also rack mounted the head with a compressor. I am playing with selling the Ashdown setup to pursue my Ampeg dreams.
