Where can I get LEDs for a build?

I really fancy LEDs in my 5 string Uke bass.

Where do people buy them for a build? It's not like I am going to need many!

What size?

Make sure you calculate the correct resistance to limit the current! :)

Yeah I'd go the fibre optic route as there's less messing around with solder joints and stuff, asides from only having one light draining the battery. You might find an entire array of LED's are much brighter than you'd need.

The fibre optic thing looks to be much more what I need, I don't want to be calling aircraft in to land :)
