Mighty Mite Bodies

The guitarist in my band built himself a strat with a Mighty Mite alder body and a real Fender 90's neck has had it painted trans black on natural, he then slapped a pickguard loaded with Frailin pickups and the result is amazing. Personally I am very pleased with the MM neck on my P-Bass bitsa so yeah I can vouch for the quality of these. Warmoth bodies have been known to be the best but at a heck of a price compared to MM parts.

I bought a maple Precision body from the US about six or seven years ago. It's vey nicely done and solid. It must be a 70s styled body as it weighs more than my amp.
It was in a lovely vintage (nicotine) white but it's now in metallic black. The only negative apart from the weight is that the jack routing is slightly too large and isn't covered totally by the scratchplate.
It's the one on the right.

There's a guy on ebay who gets the necks regularly he may be able to get you a body, he's names bluebass or something like that. I e-mailed him when I was thinking about getting a fretless neck, he was pretty helpful.

Also he get's the necks then (dunno if he does it himself) lacquers them in a vintage style and puts fender decals on. Maybe he could do that with a body or something.

Actually here's a link to a neck, you could PM him from there if you want.

I recommend this seller as he is the one who got me my excellent Mighty Mite maple neck. His email addres is: [email protected] and his name is Dave. You can buy with confidence from him directly via email and thus avoiding ebay mafia.

This is the body i'm looking at buying. Seems a good price, just a bit of a pain buying from the U.S. if there's anything wrong with it. The guy has good feedback so i may just go for it and hope for the best.
