Another New Bassist

Greetings all. I am Jak, bassist for the Brighton based Hard Rock unit "Halfway Down The Highway".

I've been playing for nearly 4 years now, and I've been through basses, amps and FX and I've finally settled on my perfect rig. I'm 18 years old, currently doing a BTEC Music Technology course. I have been a member of my current band since it's creation just over a year ago and we are taking things slow, getting gigs every so often and just enjoying the music we make. I was recommended this forum after discussing equipment with a bassist I met at my local practice studio. I used to be a member of Talkbass, but it is quite annoying considering it's American so buying and selling is difficult.

My current equipment includes:

Basses:
Fender MIM Deluxe Jazz Bass Modded (Badass II bridge, black pickguard) - An absolute beast, growls like no tomorrow
Ibanez ATK 3EX1 (ATK300) - A limited edition US model with a metal pickguard. Has a floral pattern and eagle engraved on the pickguard

Amp:
Ampeg SVT-3 Pro
Ampeg SVT410 Cabinet
