Big Mick
I'm looking for a bass head 300W + that can do warm and rounded as well as more growly tones and came across this http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/4726...onic-bh500.html Does anyone have any experience of them and can they do what I want. I was considering a used TE GP12, but for the money I'm thinking i might be better off going with something new and warrantied. I realise that there is quite a lot of choice once you get over £350, I need some help chosing the right one. Also, is there anywhere in the northwest where I can try something other than Ashdown stuff? Cheers, Mick. P.S. I'm not overly bothered about it being uber lightweight! dmccombe7
Hi Mick, Asked same question few weeks back but no-one seems to have these yet. Great price for what looks like RH450 in a proper looking old-fashioned size amp box. If anyone has tried I'd be interested to hear too. Same for the new TC cabs to match which are selling in Bass Merchant for under £300 for either 2x10 or 2x12 which is one helluva good price for a full TC stack. indiegrungesound
I must say that having had a look at these cabs, the 4x10" cab looks like a cracking option. (Same weight as a Laney Nexus 4x10" and considerably cheaper.) This could be a possible DREAM stack for me if I added the 2x12" cab later!
