Came off my bitsa jazz which has been gigged heavy this past year, so some expected pick scratches but still in good nick.
Lower horn has a crack, but very unseeable from a distance and is still obviously attached.

60's styling middle screw hole and holes for pickup cover.

Brought brand new a year ago and fitted to a warmoth neck (also for sale) although they didnt fit the 17.5 mm hole haha!!

in great condition despite the bass being heavily gigged the last year maybe due to the awesome craftmanship?

Feel great and look great, in great Condition

Good condition, John really knows what he is doing with these. Have had several for all kinds of basses, and replacing this with another of his that is a little more custom.

Comes with bellplate, screws and knobs.

btw these looked in focus on my phone haha!

  5. Do it. One of my favourite amo heads I've used.
Recently brought (brand new) one of the Chinese/Indonesian made one's and its pretty indistinguishable from an older Italian made version.

Preamp is very solid and pleasant sounding and the power amp is very good and delivery the watts it says it can.

    No comlaints from me.

For what its worth I bypass the preamp as I use my own pedal based one.

Liking the BB set up. Love my Preamp, wouldn't get rid of it.

I've had at least one on my board for ages, provides most of the actual grind for me. The guitar version is for a boost in solo and louder sections.

    Quality pedal worth the RRP

Tech 21 pedals are made in the US though, where child slave labour is a bit trickier to get away with.

    Lol!

Lozz, one thing I want to know is how you use the DI pedal?
If I recall you use a Markbass head?
If you are going straight into the front end of that you'll find that the head might sound a little thinner compared.

I only ask and say because I just got a LM3 and I went straight into the front to begin with and the sound is nice and loveley but my preamp cooks the input stage. So go into the effects return(bypasses the preamp but before the EQ) and the sound loses the low mid bump that I think Markbass is famous for?one thing to bear in mind if indeed the VT head is just the pedal with a power amp.

Really? I mean, if that's the case then fair enough. But I can't see how something so small can do 'any situation'. However, nice that you've found something that works so well for you.

Seriously, at my regular rehearsal space where they provide 8*10s of various brands I take along a single super compact and it absolutely cuts through. If you have a more typical fat and deeper sound two would definitely be better than one but again it depends how loud you need to go.

One is enough for me in a room against a PA, drums and a 4*12 100w Marshall rig.

Done loads of gigs in some of the bigger spaces in Nottingham and I never need more than one and don't need anything in monitors. Most EQ it gets is treble gets knocked down a little and the bass boosted a tad.
