Here goes... up for sale reluctantly is my KK Baby Bass. Bought this after I'd sold on my Kay to a fellow basschatter, as I missed having a DB for certain concerts but didn't want the the logistical hassle of dragging a double bass around and fighting with feedback depending on the stage construction (anyone who owns a full bodied DB knows what I mean 😉). The KK Baby bass Traditional Model is a fantastic instrument, portable, sexy looking (Like an ol Ampeg), no feedback or broken back issues! This would set you back £1120 excl. shipping. It was a three month wait from order to delivery in December last year. Looking for £760 and will include the K&M stand in the pics. For sale, the last of my Musicman S.U.B. Basses, this is the hardest one to let go of... American made, serial no x02985, this dates her at 2003. This is one of the original sub basses made without the word 'bass' under S.U.B. on the headstock. For condition I would give this a solid 9.9 out of 10. Comes with black or off-white scratch plate (your choice), gig bag and original 'checked' metal scratch plate. Only selling as I have been offered another bass, but if I can't get the funds for the other bass quickly enough, I'll pull this and keep her. For those who don't know these basses were built alongside the stringrays in the states, but proved to hinder the sale of the 'ray' so the production run was cut short, basically a string ray for a fraction of the cost. Price includes shipping to the U.K.
