i saw this last night and nearly spat my tea over the computer! I knew it was created as a joke, but i wasn't aware that it actualy worked!

receiver on top of amp - 15 / 20' lead to pedal board - pedals - duplicate lead return to amp

worked for me for -- years!

dbs 7200 and mbc410 cabs here

Might be worth looking at the preamp/ di pedals out there
not only a di but a useful solution if your rig dies mid gig,
or if you want to do what geddy used to do and totally
discard the big amp in favour of a sansamp pre/di.
Leading candidates are mxr m80, sansamp bddi, aguilar
tone hammer, hartke vxl and the behringer knock offs.
