2. I have an original I will be posting on my site soon.
3. Sweet little Kay , well not little but very sweet....
4. Sold a twin pickup version to a gent that goes by the name of "Remmy" in the UK a few years back, they do not seem to get the love that other bass guitars get , I know they are a little weighty but seem to be really cool and good players, any thoughts? anyone here have one or two? Gibson Artist series bass guitars.
5. The Strat plus is an excellent guitar , IF you want the roller nut and locking tuning keys, you can do both (have them installed)on a standard or MIJ or MIM strat and get the same results for probably less money though.
6. Ernie Ball version , not the real MM bass.....
7. I hated getting rid of this 1960 P bass for sure. Then there was the Ricky from 78 The 73 P bass was minty for sure ,but cash is king.... and a gigging musician friend of mine made an offer I just could not refuse on this Vintage Kay semi hollow body that he still plays 5 nights a week. Hope they qualify for bass porn and hope you enjoy the pictures of theses old girls...Cheers,Greg.
8. Do you prefer the Fender styled Jazz bass or the Precision Bass ? why?
9. Now now gents ,let's be nice.....
10.
Hey Greg. Welcome to the forum. Apologies for the acidic tone of my reply before. At first glance it looked like someone had signed up for the sole purpose of placing a link to an online store. I see that you have been involved in some relevant banter too and are therefore most likely one of us. Enjoy your stay mate and keep dodging those sarcy (sarcastic) comments - coz that's how we roll mofo.
Apology accepted but not needed, I can completely understand, it is difficult in forum rooms as I never hide the fact of who I am (as some independent people may do), I try to be upfront as that is the best policy and do engage in banter where I feel my input or opinion may be useful. I am trying to get my articles picked up by publications and several European mags have shown interest, any publications online or in print that the members here may know of would be helpful and f course if I were to receive some sort of pay I would glady share with the forum here in some sort of supportive way. ,Greg.
11. Yes British humor is a little different, I feel I need to be more active here and show that I am a member first before I get any permission to add more "content" . Yea that 58 is a wetter for sure, very rare indeed as it is a 2 tone burst as opposed to the 3 tone that most later 58's were.It has a Feb. 58 neck date, staggered pole piece (a) string and just a thumping bass for sure, but getting to valuable to take anywhere. I have plenty of pictures of gear that if anyone would like me to post in other rooms here just let me know, not as a subversive content form but if you all are like me ,ya just like to look at gear pics, Cheers from across the pond , Greg.
12. O.K.,,,I thought I had done something wrong...
13.
ibtb
what does that mean?
14.
Booo!
Why the bad response ? isn't what this room is for? to post links to your ebay items?
15. 4X 10 at the least for gigging- preferably 8 x 10 for the best, 1x15 is great for guitar but with bass ya need more punch, most bass rigs I sell are 8x10 vintage cabs and heads so I would say that is preferred overall by most preforming bass players.. Greg.
16. Visit My Website ebay that is.
