  1. I sold this last week. Upon receiving, the guy tried a quick check at home..ok Playing at the gig it was distorting. I refunded him, and the amp was returned. I tried it back here, plenty volume and tone but annoyingly distorting. I’m now selling it with the case for £80 and I’m gutted. (Mark 😄on bag is sunlight) Geoff
  2. Made in the England. Just serviced including new fans. Silent running no hiss or whir. Excellent condition and working order. A very powerful 500W amp through 4ohms. Various eq settings, octave effect, mute etc. ECC83 or equiv. valve in pre amp. Great sounding amp. With Ashdown thick cover. Welcome to test here before potential purchase. Collection preferred but prepared to travel a bit from WV14. cheers Geoff
  3. From the pictures, only ONE is for sale for £290 Both made in Italy, in excellent working order. With tones set at 12 o’clock, they give an instant great bass sound, maybe just a little tweak. A powerful Markbass 500W amp through 4 ohm still hard to beat. These two LMIII’s were assembled in 2009 and 2013. One was intended as backup but I don’t think I’m going to need a second. I’ve used them alternately or which ever one I unzip first. Apply for EITHER one. I’ll keep the other. Both have Markworld bags. Trial here through my speakers or yours. Cheers Geoff
  4. …and again, crazy, it’s a beauty
  5. Italian made. 15” 400W 8 ohm B&C speaker. Very good condition. Big efficient clear sound. Hardly used. I’ve gone the combo route lately. Welcome to test here in WV14 before potential purchase through my amp or yours. I’ve dropped the cab price as having a last play, the tweeter is quiet, in fact I can’t hear anything coming from it. I’ve read bassists generally turn it off anyway including me. I don’t know why Markbass went for a wimpy tweeter in the first place. Plenty of info on the MB tweeter disappointment.
  6. Fender Mustang MB-SD ‘69 reissue bass with ‘competition stripes’ from 2010 in great condition. Fabulous bass, easy to play shorter scale. Great sounding Nordstrand NM4 pickups. Currently strung with flat wounds but will supply a new set of D’Addario nickel rounds 45/100 with it. Nice action and has a great thump which sounds great in a live setting. It’s also easy on the back for long gigs. Marks are only surround reflections. Complete with Fender gig bag. Collection from Coseley, West Midlands WV14 where you can try through my gear, or will ship UK at agreed buyers expense.
  7. Nordstrand NP4 Precision pickup. Bought for project recently from Bassdirect. Never installed, just opened package to prove working. Precision pickup upgrade with a little more power, body, and a more tuneful character than factory fitted USA models.

  8. While I’m on, price drop to £195. It’s heavier than your class d’s but we’ll worth it for that big sound. cheers
  9. Slightly incorrect with spacing Pete, unit total width is 19”, hole spacings are 18.5” standard
  10. Yes. It’s standard 19” from hole-hole. 2U unit
  11. Excellent working order, nice condition and all original. U.K made. Fills the room with a thick chunky powerful sound Welcome to test here in WV14 through my speakers or yours, you wouldn’t be disappointed. Cheers Geoff
  12. All this publicity without strumming a chord. Clever stuff
  13. Fair groaner and fair strummer and that’s it. Clever pre gig advertising.
  14. Here’s a bump Lozz, I bet you play on a gig with the bass in its case
  15. Alder body in chrome red, C shaped maple neck with a dark-rosewood board (not photo enhanced) No truss rod issues. Nut 41.3mm String through body I replaced the original split single coil pickup with a Dimarzio DP122 WIMO is far superior to the stock one. I also replaced the ‘S1’ switch with a Fender 250k log vol control pot (who wants the windings in parallel giving a weakened output?! ) Both the original pickup and S1 switch are included. Rotosound 45-105 rounds fitted. Fender moulded case plus strap clips if you want to use. Small touched-up paint chip near neck indicated. Other than that negative, you could say excellent condition - great balanced thick sound of course. Serial No. Z5016004 AM P BASS S1SW RW CRD 05/2005 Welcome to trial here before potential purchase or can organise shipping at buyers agreed cost. Location WV14 West Midlands cheers, Geoff
  16. After much consideration, I’m selling a Markbass Italian Ferrari bass head, decent condition and excellent working order. 280W @ 8 ohms. 450W @ 4 ohms. Traditional toroidal transformer as Ashdown etc. (no class d). Big ‘Markbass’ sound with plenty of power, fat tone and slightly bigger than the later MKII’s. All controls as the LMII but has no VPF Filter (smiley face control - mid cut) It has some scratch marks on the surfaces but the front panel looks smart. Welcome to test here in Coseley, West Midlands either through my speakers or yours. Can ship UK 24hr. for £20 insured, unless you prefer to organise. Cheers Geoff
