1. Thanks for the comments guys, this is on hold pending a trade at the moment.

Just for completeness I'm in Essex, I am interested in warwicks but don't have money to spare, and would get a quote to Northern Ireland if for any reason it should it become available again.

Also the sofa is a great place to sleep if it means another bass!

  2. Hi all

Found a new cab so now this is now or sale

Looking to downsize my cab a little as I need more boot space, its 500 watts into 4ohms and very lightweight. Handles on top make it very easy to transport, and removable casters on the bottom for easy wheeling!

    Looking for £270 for it

I believe the below specs are correct, they have come from the eden website, think the nemesis range is now called the E series.

    http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/r...abs/n410rs.aspx

The best light weight 410 on the market. You get balanced tone and an abundance of output level. The NSP410 is ideal for most playing situations and will move you to the center stage.

    N410RS SPECS
    Speakers 4 x ES1040XL16
    Tweeter T2004
    Crossover 3kHz @ 12dB
    Power Handling 500 Watts RMS
    Freq. Response 48hz - 18khz
    Impedance 4Ω
    Sensitivity 104dB SPL@1W1M
    Dimensions 24.75w x 24.75 x 16.25d
    Weight 52 LBS

    Thanks for looking

I'll keep you posted on it, lol
Yes looks great please do!

And yes i bought it off mike, he has some great basses too!

  4.
There are a few, lol.

And quite a lot of them still inspiring much GAS. . .
Maybe you can tell me what bass i will have 4 basses down the line from you, save me some time!

  5.
Just a slight correction - there are only 23 of these in existence. 24 were ordered but one turned out to be STUPIDLY heavy and Dan Lakin wouldn't let it out the door. Mine's a keeper! These are great basses, and especially good considering the price.
Sssssshhhh You're making me really want to keep it!!

Thanks for the correction! Mine is really light, surprised he had a heavy one.

  6. I have just bought a new bass (again) which I am hoping will be a keeper, so my one in one out policy must be enforced. It’s sadly going to have to be my Lakland JO DPLE, which I bought about a year ago from this forum.

It’s a Dudepit limited edition in a Sherwood Green usual sparkly lakland finish, and matching headstock. Only 24 of these basses were ever made and only 4 with the maple board option (or so I hear!)

It’s a beautiful looking and playing bass, the neck is one of the slimmest and easiest I have played.

It has a j-retro installed as standard and also the stock fralin pickups, which makes the tonal variation excellent. Also has a spare black pearl pickguard

It has a little bit of buckle rash on the back and a couple of little marks, the worst one shown in the pictures.

Looking for what I paid for it which is £580.

It doesn’t come with a case but I can probably chuck a used hard case in for an extra £30 if needed/if I can.

  7.
Now Sold. Many thanks to Philly. Great to meet you and look after her for me.
Yep will do Michael, had a practise last night and shes a beauty!

Good to meet you too, I just have to sell one of the family now to recoup the money! I must stop looking at this marketplace!

  8. Hi all

I've only recently bought this off the forum from Bassatnight but something else I really want has come up. So if there is interest in this I will sell it before I let myself get too attached to it, if not I'll happily hang on to it.

Its a lovely looking and playing bass the quality of these Sandbergs is great, and its very versatile tonewise from the short amount of playing time I have had with it.

Hope you don't mind me using the link Steve.

  9.
I bought a Washburn AB10 acoustic/electric bass off Phil today. He was beautiful to deal with. Totally honest, very accommodating regarding my faff-arseing about for two weeks, and really hospitable.

It was a pleasure mate, thanks.
Likewise Nigel! Thanks for the kind words!

    Phil

  10. Just had a very smooth hassle free transaction with Nigel purchasing a Washburn acoustic from me.

Great guy to deal with, very friendly, good communicator and honest.

    Hope you enjoy the bass!

  11.
I supported the Blockheads a few years back at a festival in Essex.... I remember hanging out backstage in the dark as the lights were buggered.... I turned around suddenly and NWR was standing right in front of me....... scared the sh*t out of me..... it was like nosferatu crept up on me....
Was that braintree rocks? I was on the line up there too, saw nwr in the backstage beer tent, really nice guy. Weather could have been better!!
