When taking my Superfly out of the outer case, I realised you only actually need to remove the silver front facia of the outer case - then the head itself just slides out (rather than dismantling the entire case...). Quite handy.

Yeah, it's nothing major - I'm just putting different gauge strings on and have never had any success when I've tried to fiddle with action etc. myself in the past! Just dropped by The Music Box (a dive of a place, I know; but it is right next door to me...) and the guy seemed pretty keen on taking a look. So I'll see what the results are like when he's done!

Thanks for that Jack, I'd already taken a look at the list - but as you say there's none actually in Oxford. As I don't have a car, and have 3 basses that need looking at, I can't really get very far with them; so someone in Oxford would be rather useful!
