2. Sold Friday. Thanks to Wayne - it has gone to a good home.
3. It is my great pleasure to kick off a feedback thread for Wayne who bought my GK combo yesterday. He is a great guy to deal with and very much fits the Basschatter mould. The deal was closed promptly and we met up for the exchange and a brief chat. I would have no hesitation in recommending him if you are looking to do a deal in the future.
4. New Year bump ... bear in mind that p&p for this will be around a fiver so the strap is good value IMHO!
5. I am really unsure of the going price for this equipment. I paid £325 for it a couple of years ago, but have reduced it to £295 for a quick sale ... it surely has to be worth that!
6. Weekend bump - would make a great Christmas present to yourself!
7. I will seriously consider sensible offers BUMP
8. Sold Sid my PowerMix II. A smoother deal and nicer chap you could nor wish for, I would not hesitate to recommend him.
9. Thanks for the endorsement - it has a great sound and is really a practical solution
10. Sadly having not gigged for the last eighteen months due to break up of band and no takers for my average abilities locally, I have decided to retire and this is part of my gigging equipment sell off. It took me a long time to find one of these four years ago! I have copied in the following blurb for those who need more info: The Gallien-Krueger 700RB/210 480W Bass combo. The word Combo, usually implies wimpy electronics, and second rate speakers. Not true with the 700RB Series Combos. These amplifiers use the same electronics as the 700RB, and the same high performance woofers as the RBH cabinets! You get Bi-Amp Sound, 380+50 Watts (225W to internal woofer), even Speakon connectors. They share the same great hardware used on our RBH cabinets like massive custom tooled corners, 16ga steel grills, and all Birch construction. The cabinets are bevelled allowing them to play up right, or rocked back for use in tight situations. And if that's not enough, they have engineered an ingenious transport system, just to make moving them easy. When you're ready to go, simply pull out the locking handle, tilt the unit back, and it will follow you anywhere.. [s]I am asking £325[/s]. Price reduction to £295! I might consider a part trade for a practice amp so let me know what you have. Collection preferred from between Nottingham & Derby, 5 minutes from M1 J25. However I am happy to deliver/meet at a convenient place/time within a 45 minute drive of home - so consider Sheffield (north), Grantham (east), Northampton (south), Stoke (west) and all points between. Anyone interested, mail me to discuss or ask for specific photos.
11. This is a black Stagg Leather strap with a brown stitched inlay at both ends and a carved leather piece between. Adjustable, padded and 2.75" wide. Only used a couple of times s o as new! If you need more detailed photos, let me know. Price [s]£18 [/s]£15 inc p&p to mainland UK only else ebay this weekend! Sorry no trades
12. The PowerMIX II is a two channel mono mixer for mixing one 1/4" line signal and one stereo RCA signal (eg: CD player) down to one RCA stereo output and one 1/4" output (The headphone tap doubles as your 1/4" output). I used this for practising and not disturbing the Wife. £22 including p&p. Sorry no trades as this is part of my retirement sell off!
13. What it says in the title. £30 posted to mainland UK. Included one 1/4" jack to jack (cable) connector Sorry - no trades. Having not gigged for the last eighteen months due to break up of band and no takers for my average abilities locally, I have decided to retire and this is the beginning of my equipment sell off. 14. Jon bought my Protec Contego. Managed to do the deal as he was travelling near my home which made it really easy for me. Top marks for Jon and I would be more than happy to deal with him again or to recommend without hesitation.
15. It is my great pleasure to be the one to open a feedback thread for Mick. He bought my G&L L2000 and I could not have wished for an easier deal. We spoke on the phone, He paid instantly and communicated well throughout. A thoroughly great chap and a worthy owner for the G&L. I would recommend him to all.
16. There is really nothing much more to be said here. I have a Protec Contego for sale. It really is 'as new' having been been gigged only a couple of times carrying my G&L L2000 that I have just sold. I have a soft/hard case for my Jag so the Contego is surplus to my needs. Without doubt this is the best value for money gig bag around under £100 (or more) - it really protects your bass but is lightweight as well. Checkout the threads in praise of it if you don't know about it already. I have checked how much Thomann are selling this for and understand that it needs to be less, but it really is as good as you will get new. Thus it is available for £60 including delivery (standard parcel rate to mainland UK). Alternatively it can be collected from midway between Nottingham and Derby or at a realistic meeting point somewhere near there (to be discused) for £50.
17. Sold subject to the usual .... Wow that was quick!
18. Early bump I know, but I have added a link to pictures on a Picasa album
