price is £80.00 delivered please ignore the £20.00 price as i don't seem to be able to alter that
These pickups are encased in wood & give a very nice sound indeed + the give a very strong signal too.
I have used many different pickups over the last 3 years & these are the best sounding ones i have come across so far.
I am only selling them as my Blast Cult Channel Blaster preamp/mixer pedal went tits up & Jason at Blast Cult very kindly supplied me with the very latest Channel Blaster 2 system as a replacement, this uses different pickups making these jobbies surplus to my requirements.
They are wired into a single stereo jack socket so they will come supplied with the below cable, the mounting bracket for the jack socket & the bridge tension adjuster assy' (this alters the tone depending on how tight it is screwed in - tighter = punchier tone & also helps to kill feedback at high volume)
The cable - OBBM made this for me a couple of months ago, unfortunately my 2 channel preamp/mixer went tits up before i ever had chance to use this & my new replacement system doesn't need a TRS.
cable has 1 x 90 degree jack & 1 x straight jack.
the usual top quality cable made by OBBM.
The only other thing you need is a 2 channel preamp to mix the 2 pickup signals to your taste,or just any old preamp if you're not using the clicky.

a very nice neo 212 cab in mint as new condition with absolutely no damage or scuffs
sounds awesome, the only cab you'll ever need
comes with a very well fitting Roqsolid cover (black with blue edging) i gave Roqsolid the correct measurements for this as their first attempt was too long & dragged on the floor, this one fits correctly.
just a little note, this cab was built in Scottsdale Arizona, its not a Mexican built item, don't suppose it matters but just thought i'd mention it.
i have had the cab less than a year & it has been superb,i can't fault it one bit.
however i have a long term knee injury which isn't likely to get any better & i find the cab a little awkward to carry around by myself,so i have ordered a lighter weight Barefaced cab to replace this, otherwise i would be keeping it.(not that this is heavy by any means)
full specs on the cab can be found here http://www.genzbenz....&sid=725&cid=96
collection from Harrogate only please as this is far too big to post
cheers -
I think they will be fine for a good old school jazz sound,I'm no jazz player but mine has a wonderful rich pizz tone, very old school bass, lovely.

Looks great. Is it 33" scale?
Cheers.
No it's a 35" scale whereas the Ibanez next to it is 34".
Switching between the two is not problem at all, mind I'm used to a 42" on my DB so they both feel small by comparison. -
thanks guys,Bass Direct is certainly a very dangerous place for us GASing bass players to visit
used the Roscoe at last night gig,it was awesome with an immense B string, love it,love it,love it.
i can recommend trying out a Roscoe bass, just be prepared to part with some serious dosh though -
Lovely,just get one of each
-
Thanks guys
It's bloody lovely -

well i nipped down to Bass Direct this morning with the intention of buying a lovely Spector Euro LX5 in a lovely plumb gloss colour.
the Spector was very nice & i was going to buy it until i was passed a rather nice Roscoe Century 5
oh bugger it was love at first play,it is an amazing bass,i have never played a bass anything like this before, suddenly the Spector wasn't as nice as it first seemed.
the Roscoe is beautifully made, plays like a dream & the sound,OMG the sound it blew my mind, absolute perfection i bloody well love it.
i had no intention of even looking at the Roscoe basses but hey i now own one,it cost me slightly more money than i planned to spend but frankly i don't care,it was well worth every penny so own such a beautiful instrument.
top class service at Bass Direct, well worth the 300 mile round trip (yes i am knackered after setting off at 5:25 am) i can't stop playing it & don't really need to sleep,do i ?
ok here's a couple of crappy mobile phone pic's,i will put some better ones up when i can bring my self to put it down long enough to dig my camera out.
