Mmm. So Fender won't show 'em to you on the site but you can order one..... And then Snorkie gets an email showing 'em as still being buyable...! Would any one else deduce they are in fact discontinued... Fender floggin' off remaining stock?... Cos there is a new one due...??

Roxy... Fabulous.....!! Saw 'em with Eno not long before he left. I was just a teenager... And... WOW....! He released 'Here come the warm Jets'.. His first release after leaving, and it blew me.... Not heard anything like it, as revolutionary to me as 'Iggy' was.... Not Roxy I know but I'd put the Ferry version of 'Hard rains a gonna fall' in my all time top 10.....

I've used both 'GAK' and 'BAX' for all sorts of stuff. I don't feel confident to try and use them again... If they return to trading...

Update on my situation is: I did get a refund of my subs for Feb & Mar..... Dan did say he'd send those two missing issues (as a good will gesture I feel) BUT... Only issue 13 arrived a few days ago. No sign of issue 12... or the strings I spoke to him about....! I have since cancelled my subscription... Which is a shame 'cos I liked the mag, but couldn't carry on with what seems to be a shambles...! And it would appear I'm not the only one who has had similar problems...

SO..... I have had a reply from Dan.... He has refunded my last two subs for Feb and Mar... And says has had distribution 'niggles'.... Also is gonna send those two missing issues, somehow I don't think I'll get them... I have also sadly cancelled my ongoing subs as I am fed up with the whole thing and I don't think his problems are gonna get fixed anytime soon... I also suspect (as a result of the situation) he has lost advertisers, which must be a big blow... Which is a shame 'cos I like the mag and Dan does seem a really nice guy... But....! Has anyone else ever received issues 12 &13...? Regards.

Did you like what you were hearing? Was what you were hearing good? Was what you were hearing well executed? If yes, yes and yes then it doesn't matter..! Some of the best bands on the planet don't do it all 'live on stage'... But it's still them....!!

Worrying times. There seems to be talk of a management buyout with 2 directors Max McKellan and Ian Stephens seeking help with funding from a Private Equity fund. Sometimes though these deals don't happen in time..... And firms go under...

Issue 11 was the last one I received. Issue 14 will be due soon. I have contacted Dan (again) to ask what's happening...? Will report back...!!

These are limited editions right..? Andertons have an 'Ocean Turquoise' P bass listed on their site... which I guess is from the same range, but no mention of it anywhere on the Fender site...? Anyone know 'owt about that...

When I spoke to Dan at the show, he said that payments are taken on the 6/7th of the month... (mine are) Print date is 15/16 of the month with delivery to subscribers shortly after...... !! So I guess print day for issue 14 will be tomorrow since yesterday and today is weekend... Issue 14 should in theory be with us within 1-2 weeks... max.. I'm gonna give my issue 12 and 13 till the middle of next week and then 'carefully' worded contact will follow.... If you get my drift

Mmmm. I'm not the only one then... I too am in the same situation. Last one I have is issue 11, having now paid 14 subs.... I chatted with Dan in person at the recent bass show. My concerns understood.... Nice guy. However.... I had to send yet another message about said wait and I received a reply on the 7/3 .... (so a week ago yesterday) saying the copy (and replacement strings I queried) were sent on the 6th.... GUESS WHAT...? YEP... STILL WAITING...!!!!! So I conclude.. NOT SENT AT ALL.... As for issue 13, Dan said he'd run out and waiting for more delivery... Would be sent this week.... Still waiting. How can this be for a subscription product..? If it carries on like this it's 'goodbye' I'm afraid....
