Getting it from Sounds Live, am I in for a long wait?
I'm sure when it's in, you'll get it soon after; we have had great service from then, even around Christmas time.
I was sorely tempted, their prices are great. -
Thanks. They're a bit bigger than i'd thought.
Sorry Gareth. Good luck with the sale. -
Hi. how high do these stand in total? I can't work it out!
Cheers -

Sorry for this question but what do those HB Jags sound like? Don't think i've heard one live, also not sure which recordings i'll hear one on.

Looks like I bought mine at the right time!
I had it up for sale a couple of weeks back but withdrew it due to a drastic change in my financial well-being.
I can afford to keep it now, which is good as I do love it. -
Thanks! Think I'm going to try my first set of flats on her because I think those are the original strings and I want to see what all the fuss is about
Off to use the search function...
As description, bought off peety HERE back in November but played a few hours in dining room. never left house or been modified.
Pickguard film been taken off and that's it!
Any detailed pics just feel free to ask but I have just nicked the old ones off the original sale as the bass is just the same condition.
You too, will also get the padded gig bag.
I'm in NE Yorkshire/Teesside but will dispatch anywhere.
£240 posted.
Cheers
SORRY. Withdrawn, may go back on in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the PMs. -
.. without any major adjustments?

Well I'm not playing in a band setting yet but having grown use to my J, I thought a slim neck was the way to go. However, upon getting a cheaper P, i quickly grew to like the thicker neck. The body shape feels no different to me yet and I love the deep, thick sound that the P produces.
The jury's still out with me. Obviously my Fender J is a better made instrument so I'd need a HW1 P to do a favourable comparison but i do love them both. -
Hi.
Would a standard Fender bridge cover fit over the high mass Squier CV bridge or a Fender BadAss II?
Cheers -
J and P...
sorry for the poor quality image, just had to show people!
-
Received my Squier CV '60s P around 24 hours after I paid for it as described, unmarked and packed really well with a gig bag too!
Obviously a great guy to deal with; potential buyers need not be concerned in any way.
Thanks Steve.
For sale is my Classiv vibe P bass in fiesta red, i only bought this last week as a back up however have since aquired a G&L 2000 and really like it so the classic vibe is now surplus to requiements.
.This bass is only a week old, has never been gigged in facct has been played for less than an hour at home. Still has all tags and plasatic covers, the bass is essentially brand new but obviously can not be described as such as i have played it.
At work at moment so will post some pics later. bass cost me £279 so am looking for £250 posted and i will throw in a padded gigbag as well.
cheers steve
Hi. YHM! -
I'm not a hot female and don't like stroppy people otherwise the Pumpkins would've been my first choice.
I'll go for either Sonic Youth, Soundgarden or Kasabian. -
I was watching it but missed the last few hours!

Hasn't his just sold on eBay?

Jazz vs Precision sound - what's the difference
Neck pup jazz = hollow.
Precision = solid.
That's exactly the way i'd describe it. As a one time sax player, i'd hear stories about player's tones.
One claim was that, if you could section that tone, cut it in half and study its composition, some would have a an oval, or elliptical profile with a solid middle. Some would have grainy fillings, some would be hollow and so on...
is this bollocks in the bass world?
the P is thick, heavy on the fundamental, whereas the J has the ability to 'spread' it's tone.
